The world will never stand still, and anybody working with children knows this better than most. In response to this challenge we created #EdTechShrop, our inaugural Education Technology Conference for educators based in Shropshire and its neighboring counties.

What was #EdTechShop?

Working together with technology and software leaders such as Microsoft, BT, Capita and more, the conference gathered educators from across the Shropshire and its surrounding counties to explore cutting-edge education tools, techniques and applications to help school children get the most out of classroom IT.

Featuring a range of free development courses, with a focus on meeting the demands of the changing curriculum, delegates were given tools to deal with the big IT challenges of the moment including e-safety, social media, internet security and digital literacy targets.

With a mixture of talks and hands on sessions, delegates gained unique access to industry experts who are pushing the boundaries of technology learning.

The conference was a huge success and was attended by representative form over 100 schools and colleges.

So much so that planning for the 2018 conference is already underway!
